sometimes i miss it, sometimes it was gone
sometimes i rush, sometimes i wait too long

sometimes i want to jump
sometimes i wish i could
sometimes i pray for forgiveness
somestimes i think i should

sometimes there is no point
sometimes the point is too sharp
sometimes i write and write
but have nothing to say
and sometimes i'll listen for hours
but won't hear a word
sometimes i'll look around
but won't see a thing
and sometimes i'll shut my eyes
and see it all

Insomnia Head

death of the day, delivers birth to the night
my head on my pillow, my mind is in flight

i fly with the clouds, what do i see?
it will be unknown, 'till sleep embraces me

the screaming of silence surrounds my soul
it is all that i hear, asleep i wont fall

tossing and turning i twitch and i twist
the unlucky victim of insomnia's kiss

i feel the floor creak, five hours 'till dawn
it will last forever utnil the day is born

i hear things i shouldn't and it's all in my head
why should i sleep now? i'll sleep when i'm dead

my eyes become stone, so what can i see?
the clock in my face and it tells me it's three

five o'clock comes like death to the old
i've drawn the joker, this round i'll fold

time was testing me, this game was fixed
i'll feel sour sweetness when the hand hits the six

the night is over, yet i lie in my bed
i can not escape my insomnia head.

Things to do before I die.

This is my check list. It was inspired by my brother who wrote one as a joke. Turns out, you feel really good after you set goals for yourself, so I desided to write one of my own:

-Learn to bend a spoon with my mind
-Jump out of a plane
-Write a letter with my left hand
-Hang out in the White House
-Swim in all the oceans
-Sneeze with my eyes open
-Start a "wave" at a sports event
-Play guitar in front of thousands of people
-Accept an award on someones behalf
-Laugh milk out of my nose
-Learn to enjoy Taco Bell
-Buy a Benz for someone else
-Make fun of someone famous to their face
-Run for President and get at least 10 votes
-Punch a shark in the nose
-Throw out the first pitch in a baseball game
-Fly a plane
-Break a car window
-Learn to say, "I can talk backwards" backwards
-Have a conversation with a politial figure and have them say, "You're right." and mean it
-Start a "to-do" list
-Finish a "to-do" list
-Play a full game of Monopoly
-Shoot a gun
-Drive across the country
-Stay awake for 3 days straight
-Own a TV that is 52in. or more
-Own a classic hot rod
-Travel in a hot-air balloon
