Another excellent experience at Coachella yesterday. Getting to the festival was abit more of a bitch yesterday than it has been on previous trips, over 2 hours in the car! Thankfully though, this meant that we had to park in the furthest lot so when we left, we made it out in about 10 mins. Its a constant "give and take" people.
Once we did make it into the park though, everything went quite swimmingly. I got to see, TV On The Radio, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Henry Rollins, Thievery Corporation, M.I.A., Jenny Lewis, Mastodon, The Killers and Gang Gang Dance. Not bad for making it into the park after 3pm.
There was a great moment last night that I must share in fear that I'll forget if I don't; Last night while lying on my back and gazing up at the stars under the Coachella spotlights, I noticed a shooting star, followed by another and another. I, naturally, was excited and shared what I was seeing with my sister. She looks up and sees one almost immediately. Then taking another look, she says, "Vin, those arent shooting stars, those are moths." I was heartbroken.
